Fall Season

Just a quick question/informl poll. Between this past week and next, the new fall tv season is officially underway so: What are you looking forward to watching this year? Returning favorites? A new show you're gonna give a chance? Or is it just a fad and you'll stick to your books?

We literally do not have television in our house... I avoid it like the plague. Television steals my time and drags down my family. It has been about 10 years since we saw a telivision show in my house. We do have a tv with a dvd player for those rainy days when a good old movie is just the fix; but the mindless reality shows and the constatly negative media news along with filthy sitcoms help me tear up each sattelite providers junkmail with ease.
Sorry if I seem a bit harsh but this one hit a SHARP CORD with me:)

I actually have not watched tv in a while. Well, the thing is on all the time, but mostly just because Im used to hearing the sound of it. I don't know anything new or good coming out, any suggestions?

I never sit down and watch T.V. I'm always doing school work, working, raising my family, or trying to get at least a few hours of sleep before the next day comes. My friends are always asking me did you watch so and so last night and I half the time don't even know what their talking about. I don't even keep it on to hear the noise of it. When my children go to bed I literally want peace and quiet for concentration. So, no I'm not looking forward to anything new or anything old coming back this season.

I'm not a huge tv watcher but there are a few shows I like to watch. My favorite show is probably Lost but it doesn't start back up until February. :( I did watch the season premiere of America's Next Top Model. I just like Tyra!! lol Then after that happened to be a premiere for a show called Gossip Girl that I'd never even heard of. But I ended up watching it just because it came on next. It was pretty interesting. I'm excited about Project Runway starting back up too! But that's about it! :)

I am not that into watching tv. There is too much progression to be made. I am, however, looking forward to the new America’s Next Top Model.

I will be sticking to a stirct schedule of:

ESPN in the morning, ESPN in the afternoon, ESPN at night, and a little bit more of ESPN sprinkled on top whenever I get a chance. I think that and PrisonBreak will keep me busy enough.

Well, before I had my baby, Dr. Phil was my main TV man. Now it just seems like I have no time to watch it. I have SO many recorded episodes on my DVR that I'll probably not get to for another 3 months or so... I like this new show called "Don't Forget the Lyrics" Now that's funny! Today I watched part of one (didn't have time!!) where the backup singer boyfriend asked the woman on stage to marry him. It was so sweet!!

Cindy, I admire your priorities. I have seen how much family time T.V steals from my husband and I. We used to not have TV and would talk SO MUCH. Now that we have the T.V, it seems like we've got nothing to talk about when it's off. Maybe we should make "t.v. night(s)" once we're on more of a schedule with the baby.

I'm not a big TV person either, I just dont have alot of time for it. The only thing I watch on a regular basis is Grey's Anatomy and Brothers & Sisters. Those are two good ones. I also watch That 70's show at night when I can't sleep...which is RARE.

HOUSE!!!!!!! Brothers &Sisters are another returning favorite and that show based on the two nerds looks promising.
